These jokes play on the fact that before a Spaniard has fully got to grips with English pronunciation, their attempts to say the English phrases (on the left) will often end up sounding like the Spanish phrases (on the right). Try saying the English phrases yourself in a Spanish accent and ask a friend what you sound like.
Try door → Traidor
Wanted → Guante
Ford knee car → Fornicar
Hast tall we go → Hasta luego
Car tool in a → Cartulina
One car lose → Juan Carlos
As eight toon as → Aceitunas
Tell a boy a much a car → Te la voy a machacar
Who and see to sick ago in lost paint alone is → Juancito se cagó en los pantalones
